  One of the cons of working here is that I am gradually losing touch at what I was trained to do at school. Also, I am aware that what I am being offered in terms of salary is way below my worth. But my passion in working in a field that promotes Community Development and the innate desire to always be engaged in a meaningful and productive enterprise was my drive. The fact that the organization is being run by a very Small team of four persons, which includes myself, makes it a bit more challenging working here. Plus the fact that funds are usually difficult to come by. And when they do, (through small grants and supports from individual sponsors), they are rarely enough to cover the original estimates of our programmes. Also, there is very minimal interest and focus on the matters of road safety by the general public and stakeholders. The list is endless.

  Working with KRSD has really been of great advantage and plus for me because even though I have worked with several Corporations and organisation in the past, I had main experience working in the capacity of a Field Worker. I did not really have a taste of Administrative/ Operatives positions. But with my positions and experiences as a Project Coordinator of KRSD, I have amassed massive experience at coordinating, harnessing different resources (Human, financial & tangible) for the realisation of the collective goal(s) of any organisation or business I am managing as well as network with relevant stakeholders of my organisation. Another Pros is that I have acquired more information and Knowledge of the importance of both the social, economic and psychological contributions that safe and secure road practices and conditions could bring to the development of Nigeria as a nation. This is a build up on my many capacities as an individual. I am happy to acknowledge the privilege to have worked in this organisation and sector.
