      • Cons
The company has refused to pay well even though we are mainly understaffed. The management hardly takes feedback from the customer service team. I spend a lot of time traveling down to my office basically almost 5 hours everyday on the road and spend more than 40% of my salary on transportation. Again because the company is new we do not have standard policies and rules governing the way things are done, in fact structures have not been put in place that helps the smooth running of the organization. Most persons in sensitive positions are not really qualified for the jobs and it tend to push more work for the lower cadre staffs who take little or nothing home in terms of salary.
      • Pros
The experience is new and challenging. Exposure to a new industry in power has given me the opportunity to work with engineers and learn new ideas on devices like the customer interface unit (Ciu) and meters . I have learned on the job on how the power sector works in Nigeria. I also got exposure with staffs of the Rural electrification agency (Rea) before and during the commissioning of the project by the vice president and minister of power of the federal republic of Nigeria. It was a federal government public /private partnership that brought about my company.
